Fine Porcelain · Lustre Glaze

Our story

Not what
clay looks like.

We took the oldest material on earth and gave it a new soul — iridescent, alive, and unlike anything you've worn before.

Hi — we're so glad you're here. 🌿

Thank you for stopping by. In this fast-moving world, it really means a lot.

not what i expected to do with my life

Before this brand existed, I was a product manager. Trapped in a busy, screen-filled life. Everything felt digital, fast, and strangely unreal.

Until the day I held a piece of iridescent porcelain in my hands — its gentle warmth reminded me what 'REAL' feels like.

That moment brought me instant peace.

It led me to Jingdezhen, the birthplace of porcelain itself, where the kilns have burned for 1,700 years and never gone cold. This ancient city has preserved its rich cultural heritage and porcelain tradition. There, I partnered with master artisans practising a rare Lustre Technique — one of the few crafts in the world: burning rainbow colours deep into the clay over five patient days at 780°C.

🌿 Fun fact: the word 'China' (the country) comes from 'china' (the porcelain). This is where it all began.

That's what you're holding.

At Poselle Studio, every piece is hand-sculpted from earth and fire. By working directly with artisans in Jingdezhen, we help sustain a thousand-year-old craft.

In a fast world, may these little porcelain spirits remind you to slow down, breathe, and carry a piece of peace with you. 🌿

With gratitude and warmth,

What people expect

Heavy.
Earthy.
Muddy.
Dull.

What this actually is

Light.
Alive.
A liquid rainbow,
baked into earth.

That metallic glow isn't paint, plastic, or coating. It's a lustre glaze — an ancient ceramic technique that fuses light into the surface itself. Permanent. Unrepeatable. And nothing like what you'd expect from clay.

The five-day process

From mud
to Fine Porcelain.

Day 1–2

Hand-sculpted

Each animal shaped from raw clay. No moulds, no machines — just hands and patience.

Day 3

Bisque fired

Into the kiln. Clay hardens into Fine Porcelain — feather-light, permanent, real.

Day 4

Lustre glazed

Our rare metallic lustre glaze applied by hand. An ancient technique unchanged for centuries.

Day 5

The magic happens

The glaze melts and flows into its own pattern. We can't control it. No two pieces emerge the same.

Final

Hand-strung, bead by bead

The whole bracelet assembled by one pair of hands. One maker, one piece, one person — you.

Wear the one
that speaks to you.

Each animal is a modern totem. Choose the one that says what you can't.

The Octopus

For the adaptable

The Octopus

For the one who adapts, reinvents, and finds a way through. Eight arms — because sometimes one solution isn't enough.

The Elephant

For the steadfast

The Elephant

For those who hold the memory of everyone they love. Trunk up — because good things are coming, and you know it.

The Cat

For the quietly confident

The Cat

For the one who doesn't need permission to take up space. Quiet confidence, iridescent from the inside out.

The Squirrel

For the planner

The Squirrel

For the one who trusts that what they're building now will matter later. Patient. Purposeful. Forest-born.

The Cloud

For the dreamer

The Cloud

A reminder that even the heaviest days pass. Light, shifting, never the same shape twice.

The Bear

For the joyful

The Bear

Joy isn't childish. It's radical. Wear this when you choose to feel good on purpose.

A little love
goes a long way.

Made from earth — treat it gently, the way you'd treat anything worth keeping.

  • 1 Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Fine Porcelain doesn't need chemicals.
  • 2 Remove before swimming or the sea. Salt water is harsh on lustre glaze and metal.
  • 3 Handle with the same slow care that went into making it.
